Of course, 9th Wonder already had a bunch of great music that was out and i had to catch up. It was great for me when i found out that 9th was using the same beatmaking software because that's when i became convinced that it was possible to make great soulful old school style hip-hop with computer program.
I was already working on my beats in FL Studio for like 2 years, but i had just started to get more into sampling and i was loving it. I found out about 9th Wonder during 2006-2007 period if i can remember. One thing that really impressed me at the time was the face that 9th was using FL Studio a.k.a. Since i heard the beats off his first "God's Stepson" mixtape where he put Nas' acapellas over his crazy beats, i was never dissapointed by any of his work. If i had to pick only one favourite producer, i would definitely choose 9th Wonder.
